This panel will present the findings of the Bridge Builders STL St. Louis-Dupree Exchange Program, founded by Webster student Sky Krakos. Bridge Builders STL, a 501(c)3 organization grounded in place-based learning theory, carries out a two-week exchange program with young adults from St. Louis, MO and Dupree, SD on the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe Reservation. With the help of Webster faculty, the program focuses on human rights, community organizing, and anti-bias work to help young leaders avoid both ethnocentrism and paternalism.
