Dr. Roderick Nunn serves as the EVP and head of Education and Employment for the Concordance Academy of Leadership, where he oversees education, job readiness and employment programs. This includes the Concordance Employment Agency, which employs justice-involved adults through strategic partnerships with local employers in the retail, food service and light industrial sectors.

Dr. Roderick Nunn previously worked at St. Louis Community serving as president of the Forest Park campus and as vice chancellor for economic development and workforce solutions. While there, he developed and directed a number of talent development programs connecting area companies with highly trained individuals from all walks of life. Before joining the college, Rod Nunn directed the public workforce system for three Governors in both Missouri and Illinois.

Nunn and his team have earned accolades for workforce innovation and leadership from many organizations including the Missouri Chamber of Commerce, Training Industry, Inc., National Council for Workforce Education; and the League for Innovation in the Community College.

He has a Doctor of Management from the University of Maryland-University Global Campus's community college policy and administration program. Dr. Nunn holds a master’s degree in public administration from the University of Illinois at Springfield, and a bachelor’s degree from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, where he was inducted into the Alumni Hall of Fame. He and his wife Ramona have two sons, Joshua age 22 and Judah age 18.
